ABOUT

I'm Trace Mahoney and I started building road cases for my own gear in 2001, mostly because high quality professional road cases were too expensive, and most affordable economy cases couldn't handle the abuse of the road.  So, I decided to learn how to build professional cases on my own, I mean how hard could it be?  Well, I found out that it wasn't as easy as it looked, but through perseverance and a lot of trial and error, I eventually taught myself how to build my own high quality professional cases.  After a few years of improving and perfecting my case designs, my musician friends started asking me to build cases for their gear also.  People started calling them Trace cases and eventually the name stuck.

Our attention to detail shows in the quality of our products. Each of our is built by hand, one at a time, at our facility in Sioux Falls, SD. Practical, ergonomic design – combined with superior materials and expert craftsmanship – result in some of the finest protective cases on the market today.

TraceCASE can also repair any of your damaged cases and we can make modifications or refurbish your old cases.
